Phrasi-kleides aus dem Demos Myrrhinous stellte den Antrag: - - -- - -- - -bericht- - -- - -- - -- - -in Not waren - - -, wolle Beschluss fassender Rat: dass man Euenor einführevor das Volk, und die Beschlussvorlage desRates im Volk einbringen, wonach der Rat beschließt,dass, da Euenor aus Akarnanien bereitwillig istgegenüber dem Volk der Athener und nachKräften Gutes tut, er Proxenosund Wohltäter des Volkes der Athener sei,sowohl er selbst als auch die Nachkommen, und ihmdasselbe wie den anderen Wohltätern sei; und dassdiesen Beschluss auf einer steinernen Stele auf-zeichne der Sekretär des Rates und aufstelle auf derAkropolis; dass für die Aufzeichnung auf die Steleder Schatzmeister des Volkes 20 Drachmen gebeaus dem Dekret-Fonds desVolkes.

Euepios durch Wohltaten Proxenosdes Volkes der Athener geworden war und um alles, wasdas Volk der Athener ihm auftrug, sowohl privat als auchöffentlich, sich kümmerte, zu Glück und Heil, wolle Beschlussfassen das Volk: dass man belobige Euenos S.d. Diophantos son of Phrasikleidesof Myrrhinous proposed: [since Euenorof Argos?] - - -- - -- - - report (?) - - -- - -- - -- - -were in need - - -the Council shall resolve: to bring Euenor beforethe People and submit the opinion of the Councilto the People, that it seems good to the Council,since Euenor of Akarnania is zealousconcerning the Athenian People and doeswhat good is in his power, he shall be proxenosand benefactor of the Athenian People, bothhimself and his descendants, and it shall be for himas for other benefactors; and the secretary of the Councilshall inscribe this decree on a stone steleand stand it on the acropolis;and for inscribing the stelethe treasurer of the People shall give 20 drachmas fromthe People’s fund for expenditure ondecrees.

Diophantos son of Phrasikleidesof Myrrhinous proposed: in other respects as proposed by the Council,but since Euenor son of Euepios became proxenosof the Athenian People through benefactionand takes care of everything that the Athenian People has required of him, both privatelyand publicly, for good fortune, the Peopleshall resolve: to praise Euenor son of Euepios andcrown him with a foliage crown for his love of honour and hisprofessional care?; and he and his descendants shall have right of ownership of land anda house, except for common andsacred property; and the Council in office at anytime and the generals, whoever they may be at any time, shall take care of him;- - - shall inscribe this decree - - -- - -
